The team at Prado Community is dedicated to doing everything we can to keep our residents, staff and vendors, healthy and safe during this unprecedented time. We have implemented the LA County Health Department guidelines requiring all employees, building occupants, and visitors to practice physical distancing. As well as the wearing of face coverings while in shared common areas of the property if in contact with others. We ask for your assistance in helping to keep our community safe for everyone.

Management is pleased to announce that Elevator 1 is back in service after a lengthy outage, which involved having to get the manufacturer involved in the repairs.
Thank you to everyone (especially the Commercial Units and the 5th Floor) for your patience and understanding during this lengthy outage which affected your daily lives.
While these repairs were made at no cost to the Association, Management and the Board are currently working with both parties on a solution to ensure such a lengthy outage does not occur again in the future.

As many of you have noticed, we have begun the exciting project of remodeling the Lobby, Clubhouse, and Fitness Center.
Construction will be taking place during the month of February. There will be some interruptions to usage of the Common Areas during this time, but we have to have the construction portion wrapped up by the end of the month, with the project being fully complete in April. The first areas you should expect to see completed are the Clubhouse and Fitness Center.

We are happy to report that there are many maintenance and improvement initiatives that have been completed or are in process at Prado. In the last month or so the following have been completed:
- Professional cleaning of all hallway carpets, Clubhouse carpets, and Clubhouse upholstery.
- Deep cleaning of pool area tile flooring.
- Replacement of damaged 3rd floor stairwell door.
- Repair of several common area HVAC units. The gym A/C condenser will be replaced on September 7th.
- Repair of trash chute exhaust fan.
- Replacement of numerous burned out lights in the common areas.
In the coming month or two we will be:
- Retrofitting all garage area lighting to LED’s which will save the Association a substantial amount of money in electricity costs.
- Cleaning the parking garage.
- Replacing the pool heater.
- Cleaning or replacing the pool furniture cushions.
