OVERVIEW
ADP stands for Automatic Data Processing. It is the company Action Property Management uses to record all employees’ work/break hours and monitor time off. The website is https://workforcenow.adp.com/public/index.html.
Community Care Team Members should not clock in before their scheduled shift without your Community Care Lead’s approval.
GETTING STARTED ON THE ADP WEBSITE
The New Team Member Orientation Manual contains information on how to use the ADP Website. Human Resources will be able to assist with any additional questions.
ADJUSTING A TIME SHEET
- Team Members should get in the habit of checking their time sheet daily to ensure proper payroll processing and allow time for their Community Care Lead to correct the indicated punches.
- If, for any reason, you need to have your Community Care Lead make adjustments on your Time Sheet, you must submit the Time Sheet & Correction Form to your Community Care Lead. Your Community Care Lead must make the change before 10:00am each Monday after the end of the pay period. Therefore, you should submit the form to your Community Care Lead as soon as you notice the need for an adjustment.
- Located in the R: Drive -> FORMS -> Human Resources -> Time Sheet & Correction Form
- Located in ADP: Resources -> Forms Library ->Time Sheet & Correction Form
- Fill out your name and select the correct “Period Ending”.
- Only fill out the time you missed. Select “Yes” at the top to state it for a single time punch correction.
- Always include a short comment as to why the time punch was missed (i.e. ADP was down, training, forgot, etc).
- Always sign electronically and email the form to your supervisor.
ACTION POLICY: LUNCH AND SHORT WORKING DAYS
- If you are working more than a total of 6 hours, you must take a lunch within the first 5 hours. You must not go even one minute over 5 hours.**
- If you are taking a 30 minute lunch, it must be a full 30 minutes (not even one minute less). **
- If you are only working 6 hours total in one day you may do so without taking lunch. However, you cannot work more than 6 hours (not even one minute more). **
**It is the Team Member’s responsibility to ensure that these policies are followed at all times. If any schedule change made by the Community Care Lead causes a violation of any of these policies, the employee must immediately bring it to the Community Care Lead’s attention.
COMPANY SPONSORED SPECIAL EVENTS

If you choose to attend an event and it occurs during your scheduled work times, you will be paid for your regularly scheduled hours while you attend the event. If you are scheduled to take your lunch break during the event, you will not be paid for the time you are scheduled to take lunch. If you do not choose to attend, you will be expected to work your regularly scheduled hours.
Specific information and instructions regarding a special event will be emailed to you in advance.
